this was taken yesterday from my handphone, so, clarity is an issue...he is holding a toothbrush in his hand, not brushing but chewing. i thought it is about time we start him on brushing, he disliked it at first, but after his bath he took it up to the room and it has been in his hands since then.

after switching to Essential, Cepharil and Elomet, i noticed that his skin texture has improved tremendously in a matter of 3 days!!! bravo!! it has grown from rough to smooth and from red, scaly to fair and glowy. phweeeeeet!!!! i am willing to try out any supplements at any expence just to cure you, so be patient ok...mami is efficiently using the trial & error method.

after bathing sailo yesterday, i asked you to bring me his diapers, pants, shirt and powder, one piece after another. at the end of the last trip to fetch the powder holder, you climbed up on the bed sitting at par with me and said switfly : "mami, i tell you ah, stop your nonsense" (i looked blankly at her and held my laughter back)

i reached home not knowing there is a huge surprise waiting for me...
babee called me in to the room...

he took out some clothes from 2 big ZARA paper bag, 1 wind breaker and 1 pair of black leather shoes for himself. 2 skirts and 2 tops for me to match with the bottoms. (i was thrilled!!!, my hubby went shopping for me?)

"it is for you my wife, i went shopping with Renee and i always see you wearing the same bright color stuffs (turquoise), so i thought for a change brown would be nice"
immediately i tried it on, then check the price behind. it was very very expensive...but then i thought again, it is from him and from the bottom of his heart, so i shouldn't complaint...(although i did feel heartsick abit)

"Thank you Babee, I LoveYou and the clothes, all of it and thank you for being such a thoughtful husband and caring father...

we all miss you very much, although you may not be the sweetest hubby, but i still love you, being yourself - 7 days more till we can all hug you AGAIN

a newcomer to blogger

mami have decided to switch to a new blog known as "the blogger" as our existing blogsite has been under repair since 3 months ago and it keeps changing the fonts by itself.

yesterday when i was with you in the kitchen preparing your milk bottles and pacifiers for our regular Wednesday nite steamboat outing. you asked me:-

Renee: "mami, hui joi babee ah" (mami, we going to pick up babee ah? (Sentral)
mami: "nmm hai la, babee hui jo China ma" (no, babee has gone to China)
Renee: "cho meh mou tai ngo hui keh" (why didn't he bring me along?) puzzled look on her face

i looked at you with such pride and joy - i bend over to kiss your forehead and asked myself since when was she able to construct a whole sentence all by herself without any mistakes?
thank god, i have been blogging all these information in so that i could still trace back when i need to.

i kissed you over and over again...it seemed like it was just yesterday that you were trying to speak and call out "ma-mi" and now a whole sentence in both English and Cantonese...what is next? Hokkien perhaps...

babee travels so often that sometimes i feel so empty and lonely, but thank god i have you two monsters to kill those hollow times. ah yee always ask me to go The Loft, but i would rather rot at home then go clubing, just don't have those intentions anymore...

he came home to tell me that i will be very upset on coming Wednesday. he then said it is because he will be away to China (Maxon) for 1 week!!! wow...that is long...

after returning from China, he will be off to BKK for the bridge project there. December to Australia for the tiles factory and by Feb 2006, the Kedah project will kick of full swing. this means less time for us...

it is ok baby, mami will be here with you all through your walks & turns and sings & says. i love this devotion...it makes me feel important to be there for you two

mami came back from work and there you were in kakak's room playing. i cooked you congee, blend it and fed it to you. after congee, you had your orange juice which i had squeezed, then not long after that, you had cookies??? (kakak gave) - why do you eat so much baby?
i bathed you and as i was about to bath je-je, she ran away and refused to let me take off her clothes. i warned her, if she does not take her shower, she wll not be able to go shopping with us...she did not listen even after several attempts to drag her in. kakak tried, babee tried but she was just purely stuborn (like me...ahaha)
i dressed you in a pair of red Diesel pants and teamed it with a white T. kakak kept kissing your cheek, she said you look so handsome in red. then babee said your pants look familiar, is it the same pair as the one i bought for Rayern from BKK? ya lor...same, but one thing different is i bought yours last july in Phuket (before u were even born) and RE's is this year, when he was 9mths old. i somehow could figure how handsome my son would look in this red pants...
we went to MV (w/o je-je, coz she did not take her shower) to buy some toiletries, babee was at MPH and mami was in Watson's with you. you sat in your pram, you touched everything that we passed. you pulled the soft toys out of the racks and wanted to chew on them...so funny!
i pushed you to the cosmetic alley, as i was searching for my toner, cleansing gel, i turned to look at you, you were busy choosing yours too. the promoters was around you touching your face and playing with you. somehow i recalled a.AM's passage yesterday about RE "kau" looi...this scene was similar to that. you smiled to those aunty promoters, you held their hands, gave them what you were holding and opened your arms inviting them to carry you...so "hau" la...
the Eucerin sales promoter kept saying that you are so cute but unfortunately your skin was rough so she gave you not 1, not 2, not 3 bottles of free samples, but "20" bottles of samples and asked if i wanted more? i said no, it was too many and i thanked her...you waived them goodbye, gave a big "si lai sat sau hum sup" smile...and left.

mami parked you at ZARA while i shopped, the gals there came to accompany you too. later we approched to a gift shop because mami may still want to make your invites...you pointed at the blinking lights in there, you "woohhh...wughhghh" hoping that i will pluck it for you...dream on....
we passed some machine operated coin cars, you pointed at them and again ohohoho ahahaha...you are too small boy!

lastly we got our car from the jockey and there again they offer to carry you...hehehehe...
shopping with my son has so much of priviledges...

went home to drop you off, but picked up je-je to go buy "char siew pau" for supper. je-je got in to the car and first thing she said to me was -
Renee: "mami angry renee dont want to take shower ah?"
mami: "yes, that is why you cannot go kai-kai lo"
Renee: "next time i take shower, mami bring me ok"
mami: "now you shower already, so can go to buy char siew pau lo"

reached home from buying supper at 10pm, let you two played in the room. one rolled on top of the other and both laughed..one watched barney and the other dozed off after a few spins without any patting...

One day (last 2 months) ah-mi darleng brought you to Sri Kota in Brickfields (indian area) to buy some groceries and toilet cleaners for the house. as she was choosing her items, she turned to check on you and what she saw was told to me only recently...

you were standing opposing to a big, fat, dark indian girl, she was half a head taller than you. you had both your hands (fists) on your waist, you looked sternly at her, getting ready to attack any minute. ah-mi asked you "cho meh?" you kept quiet, approached the indian girl and placed your fist on her "putuh" (red dot on head) and twist that fist of yours...

ah-mi quickly stopped you and pulled your hands back, you went up to her again and did the same. only this time her bigger, fatter and darker father came to that alley where he had left her...you got scared and hugged ah-mi tightly. the indian man laughed when ah-mi apologised profusely.
Renee you fight picker, don't ever be racists again ok!

the last time something like this happened was when u.allan's indian friends asked you to kiss them goodbye...you refuse, i can understand that, but not to this poor girl???

i strip you naked to bath you, you rolled around the bed waiting for me to play cathing with you. i "ngawwwwww" and you would run and crawl rampantly...finally i got hold of you and brought you in for your bath. each time i shower you two, it is like working out in the gym, have to play a few rounds of "juk-juk" first before engaging in the bath!

as je-je was still taking her afternoon nap after the bath, mami decided to smuggle you out to MV to buy Cepharil and Elomet. i was told on EnfaMaMa Club that these 2 products when combined would be very effective to cure Eczema. there is no harm in trying, so I went forward with the buying, as nothing else is more important than to cure the skin of my precious…mami have tried changing milk powder (maybe I have no patience, it doesn’t work) using SebaMed, Oilatum, J&J, pure water with NO soap, Shaklee Basic H, Eucerin…etc…nothing works…

this is considered as my second last resort, Cepharil and Ego QV next.

i placed you in your pram as usual, you love looking at people and things on the rack, you would pull girl’s skirts, their hands, their bags and those reachable items on the shelves. each time the ladies turn around to look at you, you smile broadly till your eyes are in a straight line at them and “oooohhh…ahhhhh” (you young molester). at one point, you gave them a “friend kiss” as i was pushing you away. so cute and hum sup!

another shop assistant, pulled a very stern face at you (jokingly), you gave her a “chu mak look” (squint your eyes, pout you lips and boo-boo at her with saliva) where did you learn all these expressions ah?

mami pushed you to Jusco to find je-je some new clothes, then to the toys department to find party packs for your little friends…actually Nando’s provides them, but I am just getting extra just incase…i got Barney whistles, clip-claps, invitation cards, plastic bags etc…you sat in your pram, holding your milk bottle, patiently waiting for me, but eyes were wondering about for another victim to attack!

we had Burger King for dinner and you just had fries. mami went in to MPH again to buy a copy of Nov’s FEMALE as a. anna is on this month’s issue. after that we sent you home, i brought you up to pass you to kakak, then went down again to put on my shoes. you saw me and started crying loud, you wanted to follow me out again…so small already know how to manja and follow adults go kai-kai??? finally you realize that you are not going anywhere, so you placed one finger in your mouth and smiled to me - so "hau"

babee and I miss je-je, we did not play nor talk to her today and now she is already out with ah-mi and yaya. I wanted to pick her up from wherever they are; but babee does not want to spoil her fun.

babee and i settled for a massage in Bangsar...

je-je enjoys the "I am so Lonely" song very very much...she sings along each time she hears it. only the "i am so lonely", i am so lonely...lonely...i am so lonely...like the disc is spoilt like that.

My ToothFairy Loves Me...

today is a double happiness day for mami - 1st it is babee's 31st birthday and secondly your 1st tooth came out on this special day...

i have been counting and watching everyday, hoping that i will not miss it...but you are in melaka today, i called mah-mah and asked her, she told me 1came out today....eeeeeeggggghhhhh!!!!!

i was so happy, i exclaimed Oh My God! and Really? in the restaurant...people and friends starred at me and i all i could say was my son had his first tooth at 11months and 2 days old!
don't laugh - compare to the chart above, that is slow...baby...you should have gotten your front tooth at 7 half months old. but mami do not care how slow you grow...you are mine and only mine...i love you and it is very very much, no matter how slow you develop, i will always be patiently waiting for your 1st!

GYMBOREE IS ON!

Attention all mothers! Kindly bring along your walking and non-walking babies on the 6th of Nov 2005 to Gymboree, Bangsar Village at 2.30pm for thier Birthday Get Together Gym Classes.
The class commence at 2.45pm and will lasts for an hour. Socks must be worn at all times and kiddies must be accompanied by a "kakak" (you must be wondering where do the mothers go then) while mummies will be seated at Nando's having beer!

After their workout, they will adjourn to Nando's where the party begins...
please RSVP me on the number of babies you have attending this fun class...proper invitations will be sent out to respective invited guests when the time is right!

We brought you to a Buka Puasa dinner together with the Protasco staff, it was like a co-buka puasa cum birthday dinner for babee. I dressed you up in my favorite guess denim dress and the black patent shoes again. You sat on your baby chair quietly to savor your dinner; I mixed sup ekor tulang with rice for you. after dinner you ran about to say Hi to everyone. Each time you are to move to another chair you would say “excuse me”

Kak Ros and Liza said you speak a lot for your age, Mr Wong and Yvonne was also very impressed with your expressions. But you gave them the cold shoulder or shall I call it the LCLY look, not for long then you regained your friendliness again. You told them that your babee’s name was “kwailo” (when asked) instead of Ronnie Yap. When we asked you whose birthday is it tomorrow…you answered “babee la, babee birthday only”. You would hug him and sing the entire birthday song to him then kiss his cheek (3-4 rounds). Where did you learn all this baby?

In the car, after dinner we were driving to Bangsar to meet babee’s associates (poor us, birthday eve also have to share with other men), I asked you to hurry up, keep your jut-jut as we are approaching Bangsar already. you said “ok ok, wait ha, I keep everything first mami”, then your finger automatically pressed the car dvd player to keep the monitor in, then off the volume and lastly press another button to switch it off???? Oh my god!!! Till today I still don’t know how this thing functions and within 2 weeks and a handful of times in the car, you could remember and register all that??? Truly amazing!

At Guardian Pharmacy, you pointed to me different types of lotion that I have, ah-mi have, powders that we use, shampoo that MM uses, that kakak uses, babee’s hair gel, ah-ku’s toothpaste, ya-ya’s Optrex and many more...

You pointed at a box of mask and asked me “mami this is mask ah? What you doing” (I think you meant what is it for?) so I answered you – its for the face, to make pretty pretty lor…

I checked out on some diapers, birthday cards before paying for my items, you asked me again “mami you didn’t take the mask ah? Nice nice one wo…(I couldn’t stop laughing, even the 2 cashiers also was smiling to me while overlooking you from the counter.

We met up with the guys and babee at The Talk, you waived your hands to say Hi to the waiters. Then you greeted babee’s friends, and tolds them “tomolo is babee birthday you know? Sing song la!! – you demanded them to…so funny

Reached home, changed you and put you to sleep, kissed babee good night and sms him Happy Birthday message, so he could see it first thing in the morning when he gets up to leave for Kuching…on his birthday.

dear sweetheart, today you are 11 months old, I have been missing you the day you went back to melaka. Iwas so eager to return to you yesterday, i wanted to check to see if your teeth have grown or if you could wobble by now. (sigh)

i changed je-je, preparing to come back to melaka to pick you up, i was dreaming of you last night, i am so looking forward to come back to see and bring you back. it was then that i received a phone call from mah-mah and u.martin asking us not to come back as she wants to keep you for another week…haiyah!!!

all plans of going back have cancelled so where do we go then? AHAA! we shall go check out the cakes, check out the venue and what to compile for the party then...

ü 1st destination 1300 – Pamela Jones house, i looked through the cake books, the same cake book that carries Rayern and Jaylyn’s cake…so many designs to choose from, so puzzled and confused…don’t know what you like, didn’t have a clue on your favorite color…don’t know if the train is better than the plane or if i should get the motorbike or should it be a single bear instead??? made my choice after 35mins…book the cake liao, but will not disclose now…just hope that it will turn out as beautiful as i have seen it on the mag. pray hard…

(in between babee went to gym and left me at Jaya Shopping Center)

2nd destination 1600 – Kowloon, Sri Hartamas
met up with CY, u.billy, a.Audrey and lil Lauren. she is so tiny and patient, i carried her for quite some time while her mummy smokes and chatted…she did not make a sound and seemed entertained by je-je’s songs and dances…
u.billy carried je-je over to the dvd shop and came back with a Garfield dvd, then CY carried je-je again to the same shop and this time he too returned with some dvd’s - not 1, but 5 Barney dvds!!! It cost RM80/. i took it back to the shop and asked for a refund coz i didn’t want CY to spend so much of money…and i do not want it to become a habit of accepting gifts and on top of that accepting expensive gifts…

ü 3rd destination 1900 – Bangsar Village had NANDO’S for dinner, enquire about party packages from the planner…she gave us a thorough understanding of how and what to expect. i requested for the slide to be moved indoor (currently outdoor, too hot), she said she will try her best…ordered for 40pax, including kids.

ü 5th destination 2030 – went up to Gymboree to ask for price lists, but they were closed, got their number and will call them tomorrow to book for 10 kids party. i am sure you kids are gonna love gymboree as they are more catered for kids under 4 years of age…

i returned home as a happy and proud mum…i have practically done everything that i need to do today and now i just have to wait for another 2 weeks to reconfirm on number of kids, adults and then purchase extra gifts for the party packs…

this passage is specially dedicated to my sweet daughter who has a temper of a "ngau" (cow)
tonight ah-mi darleng cooked "ham yue ching chu yuk" (salted fish steam pork), yum yum! so she asked me to put some sauce and peel some pork to mix in your rice to feed you. i did what she said, i fed you 1 spoon, it was ok, no funny faces, but then the second spoon, you pushed it away, presssing your lips together and looking very reluctant...

i asked you why? you pointed at the beef soup and said "mami, oi sek li ko". ah-mi looked at me and ya-ya too knew that you prefer beef to any other meat. we tried to con you into eating other food, but each time we will all fail. whenever there is beef and there is soup, the answer is a loud "NO" to others.

i still recall, when mami was pregnant with you, the cravings for "hot soup" was extremely strong. i would wake up every morning to heat up last night's soup as breakast. once, i couldn't stop my cravings, i persuaded ya-ya to go Hong Kong with me to have true "beef steamboat". (i think i almost had all parts of the cow except for its kkc) we took a cheap flight there and spent 5D 4N in HK, we had steamboat all 4 nights including one lunch. your grand uncles brought us to many different restaurants to savour some of the finest and most mouth melting beef...

one night ya-ya wanted to have Teochew food, but i was not full at all, so after the Teochew dinner we adjourned to have steamboat at 11pm...the uncles and aunties shook their heads and said this pregnant mum will sure give birth to a "ngau mo wong" (king of cow devil)...i sure did!
some of my friends finds me too extreme, flying over to HK to eat beef, i explained to them, once you try it, the taste will be lingering in you for a lifetime!

and now, my sweet girl you, are exactly like me - an undeniable natural beef lover!

last night babee and was at MValley waiting for a.nicole to come by, while waiting we went to do a little window shopping and lastly ate at Nando's. he said the chicken reminded him of Australia (a.nicole, a.AM, u.jeff, u.avvy, u.alex and us went to Sydney exactly 2 years ago this month, to be really exact 17th Oct 2003) we spent a week in Sydney and flew down to Gold Coast for 4 nights...on the way to movie world, we stopped at the R&R to have Nando's...the wheather was lovely but the food was costly.

then babee suddenly bounced me an idea, to hold Reeve's birthday party here at Nando's!!! i couldn't wait to find out more so i deserted my food to enquire, however the waiters could not understand my questions and directed me to another "so call" manager who did not know what i wanted as well...it's ok Reeve...mami will go to Nando's at Bangsar Village to check it out...they have a playground there and better facilities...

Monday Bluezzz – 3rd Oct (Rayern's Birthday)

I was awaken by reeve’s cries, he wanted to sleep next to us, so babee carried him up from his bed at 6.30am and he slept right through till 7.30… the naughty boy had his head sandwiched between my chin again, he just loves sleeping so close to us…at 7plus, i smsed a.AM to wish Rayern his actual Happy Birthday wishes…Yipppeee!!! He is officially 1 today!

this very morning babee and i got up early and headed straight to The Curve for his gym work out, while he was at it, i wondered around the mall trying to find nice boxes and wrapping paper for Rayern’s shoe. however, i only managed to find small boxes but they are not deep or big enough to hold the shoe, so I bought wrapper instead. i also got some lovely cards and both you and i had so much of fun in The Curve. i put you on the machine operated moving cars and you laughed so loudly…after that we went to IKEA and then Burger King to check out sailo’s birthday venue. they did not have much to offer, no slides, no ball pool, no playground!!! so i just booked Nov 6th but did not place a deposit. i may want to change the venue to a funner place…

we reached home closed to 2.30pm and you were already asleep on the way back, so we did not disturb you…the sky was about to rain so I thought you will not be able to swim anyway in RE’s house, i asked babee to allow you to sleep longer till 4.30…we woke you up, you were agitated, but when babee say go Rayern’s house ok…then immediately you sat up and “hmmmneggh”

we arrived the same time as jaylyn and her parents, when i saw Jada, i could not resist to carry her , she is so so cute, chubby and agile. just like you before accept that you were thinner. instantly, mami felt like having another baby “girl”…hahaha

mami carried Rayern and surprisingly he allowed me to, but occasionally turning to “chiww” at me…so LC but so adorable and unusual. every aunty had their chance to carry him, but soon he was tiring out. we sat around to chat about babies and the lovely balloon decorations a.IS did for RE. a.IS was so in to it as if its her own son’s birthday…she is a great party planner!

Rayern received so many gifts from all the guests…the most interesting one was an electrical motorbike from both his grand auntie and grand parents…it was what i wanted to buy for you when you were 2, but i just thought that our house compound was too small for you to ride…sorry darling, maybe next time…

Belen was wearing a lovely skirt, you mostly played with her and jaylyn in the living area. there were all in all 12 or more girls, only RErn and Reeve was the only boys of the same age.

u.Mark asked if we want to hold Reeve’s birthday party together with Jada’s or not in Chili’s? why there? it is because they serve liquor and in BK we cannot bring in beers or any alcoholic drinks. we shall consider and see ok baby, it is your birthday and not ours ma…after all the adults get drunk, who will drive u babies home wo?

friends and relative strolled in at around 7pm, a.sandy, a.julie and i played mahjong till 7 plus and then the feast started. the food was scrumptious, it includes my favorite roast lamb, chicken wings, a few other Chinese dishes, lots of cup cakes and small finger desserts…and best of all chocolate cake!

ah mi, ya-ya, mann-mann and reeve arrived at 8plus, many uncles and aunties complimented on him, they said he is very handsome and cool looking, one aunty even said he look exactly like his father, so macho and manly – then when mami ask her “you know my husband ah”, she replied “ya la, who doesn’t??? Cheng Hoe Lam mah!!!” hahaha…

during the cake cutting session, a.AM was busy taking photos, so i offered to help her record the entire scenario on viewcam…lil Rayern was smiling all the time, especially when a.IS was taking it with him. a.IS was busy taking shots too from all different angles. after the cake cutting, babee and i left, but you did not want to go, so you created a scene, i smacked your bum and you cried louder, i told you that we were going back to see ah kung, but you still didn’t want to…so we left you there with ah-mi darleng… as sailo, babee and i hit NKVE, i decided not to go back as you were not with me…i missed you la…baby

we headed home instead and slept…

before sleeping, i recalled a.AM’s house, it looked as if both Katrina and Rita had visited her…it was in a total chaos, then i told babee, Joanne and Jeff is so hospitable, if it was me, i think half way through i pengsan already…how to hold open house next time at Lake Fields?
