Land of Smiles
We set off for Bangkok on the 15th Dec for a hiatus, you got up as early as 6am for the flight, no struggles and crying at all during the morning shower. Unfortunately the flight was delayed for 2 hours, when we finally arrived BKK, all you babies were so tired, so all we could do was to only bring you all to the nearest shopping mall for some grocery shopping. In Central Chitlom, both Rayern and Lauren were so tired that they slept in your prams and the most beautiful thing was you actually baby sat them when their mummies were trying on clothes. a.Rena was another extremely helpful person, she practically baby sat and assisted all of us in carrying our shopping bags and prams 24/7.
The daddies played golf for 2 good days, leaving the mummies to shop with you kiddos. On the 2nd day I brought a.joanne, a.audrey and a.Rena to Ma Boo Kong Centre and later to Siam Discovery to get some BBushe apparels. Nope! this time round we did not get crazy over the prices as there was nothing much to shout about. *Dissapointed*. So far, throughout the entire trip, you have been a great girl, no unnecessary outburst nor cranky behaviour. You just blended in so well with the 2 babies, each time Rayern sees you, he screams joyful "eee...aaaa" and Lauren kicks her hands and feet yelling "babaaaa...baaabaaaa". Both these babies just loves your company and i think the feeling is mutual too. Every morning you wake up, first thing you do is take your own shower, then got dressed to meet the other 2 kiddos for more adventures. I was surprised that you were generous enough to share your prams with them.
On the 3rd day, babee brought us to Chatuchat, (the famous 14ache open market) u.jeff had to carry R.E the whole time, Lauren and you took turns to be saronged under u.billy's armpit the whole afternoon while a.audrey, a.joanne, a.Rena, including myself had a ball of a time buying "cheap-cheap" things there. Babee bought his army shirts, pants, torchlights and i got some ARMY stuffs for sailo too. As for you, mami only managed to get pyjamas and banana slippers. We left right after lunch, as it was alomost impossible for the uncles to carry babies in one arm and trying to squeeze through the tiny lanes. Thank god the weather was forgiving, it was sunny throughout the 4 days we were there, but the temperature was at most 26 deg, at night it dropped to 19 deg. u.jeff suggested coming back to BKK every December for golf and shopping as the temperature was just perfect.
At night we went to Suan Lom Night Bazaar or more crazy sprees, it was just endless! Everytime R.E or Lauren cried, you pat them and calm them down by singing and dancing. You pushed their prams around, you carried Lauren in the taxi and hugged her so tightly when the taxi moved. At times, you give a difficult and spoilt impression to people, but i think deep down, you are so good with taking care of others, winning hearts, considerate (at times) and especially talking your way out of trouble! why mami say this?
At the Airport, I placed you in the baby cot to change your diaper, then you asked me to wait, then did i realise you peeed in the old diaper one last time before mami changed into the new diaper. At that moment, i gave you a peck and asked where you learn to conserve like that? It was a very considerate thing you did especially at your age! In the cab, a.joanne opened a pack of biscuit for R.E, you told her not to as it might dirty the uncle's taxi, but you still took the largest bite after all...hahahha. a.Rena was looking for her m&m's and when you found it, you went around the super huge penthouse to look for her and then return it to her. I told you to eat it, but you said "cannot, after a.Rena angry how?". At last a.Rena spoilt you with all those colourful chockies till your lips turned blue...so funny.
Overall, the trip was like a joyful roller coaster ride - it was FATULOUS! we should have it more often and the idea of staying in a service apartment is excellent! Bravo to Billy! Generally, both R.E and Lauren were so well behaved and jolly. a.Rena is a sweetheart, she was so helpful, she is a must have at ALL occasions! a.joanne did not get to eat her sharksfin nor did she get a proper massage so this means we still have to go back for more...a.audrey will have to start her count down now for another shopping spree - X'mas 2006! Thats all folks...till then!
