A Constipated Child is a Stubborn Child (True or False)

i have always heard of this saying and related it to myself as i "used" to be a constipated child just until a few years back though. it was only last night i actually find it a very true saying...here it goes...

Occasion: Post Birthday steamboat dinner with u.Hoesi and a.Sue
Venue: Ting Heng, Jln Imbi

Renee signaled me to put her on Ivan's baby chair, but when i placed her in, she suddenly cried extremely loud wanting me to sit next to her. before i could remove a.sue's cutlery, Renee's tears had already bursted in to even bigger droplets. i sat down on my chair piercing my eyes right through her and asked her to behave herself or we will go back right a way. the cries became more irrational and barbaric, by then AMD had already gotten up to walk over to caress her, yaya told her (AMD) to sit down, but she just picked up pace as she walked from the other side of the table. all the other uncles and aunties had the same comment, "pei kui harm"..."mou jung ah" (leave her there to cry...don't pamper her) too late...AMD just picked her up and cuddled her, totally ignoring everyone on the table.

AMD must have been a constipated child too to have refused to listen to anyone...she wanted an immediate silence for Renee but she doesn't know that it may affect her attitude towards people and perceptions in the future.

i continued enjoying my "fat beef" while a.sue continued feeding Ivan with egg white. Minutes have passed, i felt a small hand pulling my shirt, then the tiny palm patted my lap, a subtle voice from behind my back said "mami, sorry...i don't want to cry like that again"

i turned back to look at her, then she came to my other side and repeated the same words again. i kissed her forehead and was concerned on why she pulled such a stunt?

When we reached home, after her milk, she tried very hard to poo-poo, but couldn't. so i guess the saying is correct - the Constipation must have kicked in for her to have pulled such a terrifying act!
