this X'mas with daddy's boy

Ever since you came back from Melaka, you have been so attached to babee. Every little thing you will just clang on to him like a Koala Bear. You called him "babee" while he was driving today then leaned your body on his shoulder and called out several more times. That same day, you pointed at our room door and yelled out "kakak" (referring to Dilah) to come to your rescue. When mami tried to wear your shoe for you, you pointed at your feet then mumbbled "col-col" in a sad tone. I think you want to tell me that you prefer cooler feet than warmer ones tucked in shoes...fine...Minutes after returning home, you saw Kakak Eko, you pointed at her and again said steadily "Ko". Mann Mann walked past and kissed your forehead, you smiled at her affectionately then called "MummMumm"...Yes! I am miffed! I carried you for 38 weeks in my stomach, nutured you till you are 15 months old and you call all others than you own mami? *sob sob*

I watched you walk for a firm 20-25 feet, both babee and i stood next to one another waiting for you to walk into our arms, but you would go to him to share your victory.

Christmas Eve, we spent at a.audreys, the Teh's served a delightful full course dinner meant for carnivores only and I seriously mean any mammals or plant that eats meat only should be there! The spread was eye opening, the generousity of the liquor was even more jaw dropping. But because mami had to take care of you, so i only had 2 glasses of wise-key, while waiting for the arrivals of a.sandy, a.nicole and others... while we were there, i placed you with Lauren, you both played happily for about an hour until jaylyn arrived. When you saw her father, you cried so loud. When a.johhny tried to lean forward to carry you, your cries became even more intense (dunno why??) I pat you to sleep after you stole a few pecks from jaylyn. When the clock stikes 12, everyone exchanged kisses and gifts...i got a purple cow - note clip from a.audrey.

Merry Christmas, sweethearts! that precise moment babee's phone rang and it was Renee calling from a.sue's number wishing him "Merry Christian" (too much of church) ..i suppose, either that or Sue's intepretation of Christmas was only meant for Chistians!

After i reached home, i saw my sugary daughter, i approached her to give her a Yuletide kiss, but AMD gestured me away - then said "ng tak ah, mat mien seen, ho toh yan sek hui ah" (cannot la, wipe her face first, alot of people kissed her). I know for sure Sue is one of the many culprits...ho..ho..ho
